Successful launch of CIEN, the new event for the electronics and digital Industry |

From 1 to 3 June, 230 exhibitors at CIEN – Carrefour de l'Industrie Electronique & Numérique (Crossroads for the Electronics and Digital Industry) – welcomed 3,587 visitors, mainly from the Paris metropolitan area (67%) but also from the Rhône-Alpes, Centre and Pays de Loire regions... and 5% from outside France.
84% of visitors said they were satisfied with the quality of the trade show, its representativeness and their contacts on site. The exhibitors also appreciated the quality of the visitors who were strongly involved in buying decisions, eager to discover new techniques, trends and market developments, and keen to seek out information on products. |

The launch of this new appointment of the profession is successful thanks to the exceptional support of the profession with FIEEC and its major unions and associations: GFIE (Association of Suppliers to the Electronics Industry) - GIXEL (Groupement des Industries of Interconnection of components and subassemblies Electronics) - SIMTEC (Union of Testing and Measurement for Electronics) - SITELESC (Union of Industrial and Electronic Tubes and Semiconductors) - SNESE (National Association of Business Subcontracting Electronics) - SPDEI (Union for the Distribution of Industrial Electronics).
61% of exhibitors are willing to contribute to the mobilization of the industry.
95% of visitors satisfied with the dates and venue of exhibitors and 60% satisfied with the dates and 84% of the place
CIEN benefit in 2011 the renewed support of FIEEC and several of its unions for the second edition.
